Vespa Officina 8 series is a celebration of Vespa's long-standing legacy, tracing back to its origins in the Officina 8. It is a true Italian icon and marks a tribute to three highly successful scooters: the Vespa Primavera, the Vespa Sprint (for Asian markets only) and the Vespa GTV 300.
From Workshop to Road
Nimble and robust, the Vespa Officina 8 models are completely new yet somehow familiar. The industrial blue tone is strong and inspiring, grounded in history, while the dynamic silhouettes look purposefully to the future. Members of the esteemed Officina 8 team were identified by a distinctive badge, a brass pin infilled with blue resin, which they proudly attached to their overalls. This prestigious pin, with its retro feel and profound significance, became the inspiration for the graphic of the Vespa Officina 8 Series and merchandising.
The Vehicle
The steel body of the Vespa Officina 8 comes in a new matte metallic Blue Officina 8, a color designed specifically for this special series that reinterprets distinctive color palette nods to the tools and uniforms of the Piaggio workshops. This avant-garde reinterpretation of the past is also embellished with a dedicated plaque placed on the rear shield inspired by the brass pin filled with blue resin which Officina 8 members proudly attached to their overalls. Metallic detailing brings contrast and lightness to the design, drawing the eye to the scooter’s dynamic profile, and adding a contemporary twist.
